The meeting was called to order by the President at 7:00pm
2. Chairman’s Opening Remarks
The president welcomed everyone to the meeting and reminded us that this would likely be the last meeting we have at our outdoor range.

4. Approval of the Minutes of the Previous Meeting
No minutes for approval.

b. Anyone holding a key for the storage containers at the outdoor range please return them to Greg Birtwistle.
8. New Business
a. Schedule for remainder of July to mid-August
i. There will most likely be one or two more tournaments at the outdoor range before we lose it; they will be announced closer to the date. There will be no shooting access after August 16, 2021.
b. Last day at Burnside Celebration Weekend
i.There will be tournament shooting, fun shooting, and celebration on August 14 and 15 before we no longer have access to the outdoor range.
c. Packing and movement of containers
i.A disposal bin will be brought in (August 16) to do a final clean-up and reorganize of the storage containers; a work party may be arranged on this day and for the remainder of the week – hoping for a good turnout.
d. “Storage”/disposal of outdoor butts from Burnside
The outdoor butts will be stored at the Victoria Fish and Game Protective Association and South Vancouver Island Rangers, with the option to reclaim them if we find a new outdoor shooting location.
e. Updated Bylaws
Al Wills explained the updated the club bylaws and the board supports the changes.
f. New Butt Stands
Al showed a picture of a new style of butt stand that we may consider in the future.
g. AGM Date and Preparations
The AGM will be held at Saanich Commonwealth Place on Wednesday September 29, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. The room will be announced closer to the date.
h. Victoria Fish and Game Offer
The Victoria Fish and Game Protective Association would like to host an open house for the Victoria Bowmen at their archery range. The date will be announced when it has been determined. Discussion on what might be offered by the VFGPA and what we might expect. It is hoped that an ‘Archery Only’ membership could be offered.
