Summer is almost here and the range is waiting for you! The days are getting longer and the range is open dawn till dusk so be sure to come out and shoot – and meet some other archers! There is lots happening over the next while and as well a lot of updates so please read the whole newsletter below to keep up to date!
Targets at the range – where to shoot/where not to shoot – save the centres!
One of the biggest expenses of the club is repairing/replacing target butts. You can help by not wearing out the butt centres. When you’re shooting on the closer butts (15 – 25M), please do not place the target on the centre of the butt, but rather move to the side so you are not wearing out the centre. There should never be 122cm targets on these closer butts. If you are having problems or are new to our sport, by all means put your target on the centre and when you’ve got a bit more proficient, then move it over please! Save those centres!
