September/October 2018 Newsletter

Happy Fall everyone! It was a busy summer for our members both on the range and afar – many members participated in events locally, provincially, nationally AND internationally! Congratulations to everyone on their accomplishments and achievements!  The long, hot, dry summer that had our range brown and dry has now changed to fall and the range is back to being green.  Indoor season is almost upon us again, but that doesn’t mean the range is closed – there are still a few things happening out there before the weather REALLY turns, so read on and get out there and shoot!

Hot Dog Rally and Range-Tidy Sunday September 30, 2018, 12:30pm, weather permitting.

On Sunday September 30, at 12:30 at the range, there will be a hot dog rally – hot dogs on the bbq and drinks will be served (only 62 hot dogs available, so hurry!).  Also, a pre-winter range tidy needs to happen – the range is in pretty good shape, but 6 brawn and burly members are needed to help with butts that need to be shifted around. A general garbage pick-up is needed as well. Please consider coming out to help – you will be fed J

The first indoor club shoot is Thursday October 4th at the gym at Saanich Commonwealth Place at 7:45 – 9:30.

PLEASE NOTE: SUNDAY SHOOT TIME CHANGES – the club indoor shoot on Sunday’s is now from 1:00pm to 3:00pm  Everyone is needed to help set-up and take down for all shoots. Hope to see you there!
