2018 BC Indoor Championships

As you know our club is hosting this event Easter weekend (Mar 30 – Apr 1).

Many of your have already contacted me concerning your availability for the event, this is most appreciated, so if you haven’t, please let me know ASAP. Our goal is that everyone who wants to compete should be able to (they shoot 2 different lines, so you can shoot one and work during the other). This is also an opportunity for those requiring judging experience at a Provincial event (you know who you are).

Please check out the event’s website for information on how the event will run. If you have specific skills such as IT or are familiar with the i@nseo scoring program, please articulate them to me. We also need butt movers, host/hostesses, score inputters, jacks of all trades and ticket takers throughout the weekend. Even if you can only work one day or part of one day, we need you.

This will be a great opportunity to be a part of the biggest indoor target tournament in BC! And the first time this shoot has been on the island since the ‘80s.

As we get closer to the event, we will host some meetings where you can hear about the event and the assistance we need!

Congratulations to our own 14-year-old Bailey Drinkwalter in securing a spot in the BC Winter Games held in Kamloops February 22 – 25, 2018! She’ll be shooting with other female recurve archers from around BC and is one of two girls representing Vancouver Island! Congratulations Bailey and good luck!
