Memberships
– There are still a few of you that have not renewed your membership for 2008 –
if you are not renewed, you are not insured. Please be sure your new (yellow)
membership card is visible the entire time you are on the property.
Outdoor Range Maintenance
– It’s that time of year again, we need periodic maintenance of the property,
such as mowing the grass, weed whacking, clean up etc. please contact Al or Greg
to volunteer. While on this subject,
please do not leave litter at the range, there is NO garbage pickup, so please
take out with you what you bring in. And PLEASE keep dogs on a leash and pick up
their droppings.
Spring Clean Up
– Our Annual Range Clean up Day is this month Saturday April 26th,
2008 at 0900, we need everyone there! Please bring along rakes, shovels and
garden pruners. “Many hands make light work”, so the more help we get the easier
and faster it will be. There will be a BBQ at noon and you can shoot after that
– Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
2008 Canada Cup
– We are hosting this shoot May 17 – 19, this is a ‘Major Event’ which Canadian
Elite archers can use for ranking points towards Canadian World and Olympic Team
berths. The format is 2 days of qualifying and the last day of match play.
Everyone is welcome to come and watch, but the best vantage point is that of a
volunteer, we need lots of help, from helping add scores to score runners, to
computer imputers and butt movers. Please contact Tracy Klat to volunteer.
Next Shoots
– Our next 3D shoot is May 4th and our first outdoor FITA will be
April 19 & 20, if you are interested contact Doug Bell for 3D , Tracy Klat for
FITAs/900s. If you are interested,
but don’t know what you need to do, call Al or any member of the Executive for
info. Your club Board
