Hello All,

Here is the latest news as of our last Board meeting March 5.

Well, even though it doesn't really look like it right now, indoor shooting is coming to an end and it's time to start thinking about the outdoor season! There will be shooting this Friday (10th) from 7 to 9.

Outdoor Range - Please remember it is wet out there and will be so until at least late May, that means you have to be VERY careful where you park, if you park off any of the gravel roads, you will probably get stuck and then you have to clean up the mess!!! Bring your rubber boots out as all ranges will be wet! Remember to take garbage home with you, there is no garbage pickup at the range. Also remember that any mess you make has to be cleaned up by someone, so it might as well be you!

Have you membership card to show to the commissionaires, should you have any problems with them, please do not start a confrontation, refer the issue to a member of the Board. Remember only members are insured and therefore allowed on the range due to our lease with DND.

Our last 3D shoot was a great success, congratulations to all involved!

JOP 3D Day - The JOP will be trying out shooting 3D on the 3rd of June, the date is still tentative, but mark you calendars. If you can come out and help, please come out.

Equipment Director - The Board position of equipment director is still open, please consider volunteering to fill this important position! - Your assistance would be most appreciated!

Lawn Mower - We are going to be relying on volunteers to cut the grass at the range this year, if you can help, please let us know by contacting the President or the Secretary.

Spring Work Party 29 April - Please mark your calendars and come out and help get the range ready for the summer's shooting season! If you are aware of something that needs to be done, mark it on the blackboard at the range. When you come out bring along wheel barrows, rakes, shovels, limb trimmers, etc.

Club Shooting Night - The club shooting night will be Wednesday night, that is the night that all of those of us that shoot on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays indoors can still meet and shoot together. JOP will still shoot on Saturday mornings. 3D shooters meet Wednesday nights and early Saturday Mornings.

JOP Outdoor Shooting - Parents please note that JOP members under 16 must be accompanied by and adult while on the range, drop offs are not allowed.

Website - Remember to check the club website periodically, it is where you can find the latest information on all things about the club - http://www.victoriabowmen.com - We have added a Buy and Sell section should you have any items you want listed contact the webmaster.

Next Meeting: The next meeting of the Board of Directors is April 3 - 7:30 PM at the Clubhouse. All members are welcome.
