Victoria Bowmen Newsletter for February  2005

Hello All,
 
Here is the latest Victoria Bowmen News as of the Board of Director's Meeting tonight:
 
Indoor Shooting Ends
- March 15th is the last indoor shooting night, after that we revert to our outdoor shooting schedule, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. In the early spring shooting usually starts about 6PM and 7 later in the year.
 
- Next Board of Directors meeting is March 21 7PM at the Clubhouse
 
- Good luck to all the JOP youth attending the JOP Championships in Abbotsford on March 13th!
 
- Next 3D tournament at our range is the 27th of February
 
- The Victoria Bowmen are hosting the Canada Cup May 13 to 15th, this is a Major event for archers to get scores for Canadian ranking to international teams. If you want to shoot, let Tracy know, if you can volunteer to help contact Tracy: tournaments@victoriabowmen.com Watch for the website at victoriabowmen.com
 
- Don't forget the Canadian Indoor Championships March 5th at our Gym (1 PM - 4 PM), this is a great opportunity to shoot in a Canadian Championships without leaving our own facility! Everyone is welcome, young/old/new shooters/old shooters/everyone! Once completed, you can see your scores ranked with shooters from over 30 sites across Canada! This shoot is also registered for Canadian records.
 
We now have 166 members signed up for 2005, remember, our new membership cards are to be visible while using the ranges, if you haven't got yours yet, contact Lorrie at membership@victoriabowmen.com.
