Here is the latest Victoria Bowmen news as of the Board Meeting January 24. Please remember to keep checking the Club's website (www.victoriabowmen.com) for any breaking news!
 
Memberships are now due!! - If you are shooting without a current membership, you are at risk as the membership includes insurance and without it, you could be liable!
 
No Archery February 17th - Due to happenings at the school that night archery is cancelled.
 
Judge Clinic Duncan March 18/19 - Members are encouraged to help out at the club by becoming a certified judge, for more information contact Eric Walker at earch@shaw.ca
 
Upcoming Shoots:
    - February 5 - MICA (Multisites Indoor Championship of the Americas) - your chance to compete against archers from the entire Americas from South Ameria to Canada. $15 - Practice starts at 1200, scoring at 1:00 we should finish around 3:30PM Call Tracy ( tklat@islandnet.com) space is limited. At John Stubbs School.
    - March 5 Canadian Regional Indoor Championships - $15 - Practice starts at 1200, scoring at 1:00 we should finish around 3:30PM Call Tracy ( tklat@islandnet.com) space is limited. At John Stubbs School
    - Zone 6 JOP Duncan (Cowichan Bowmen) contact Eric Walker at earch@shaw.ca or Cliff.
    - Feb 27 - 3D Victoria Bowmen Range (FITA Range will be closed) $15.00 contact Aaron Rodd jrodd@shaw.ca
    - Mar 13 - BC JOP Championships Abbotsford (members will take a bus to this shoot) contact Cliff
    - May 29 Queen Victoria Shoot (900 & 3D)
    - 3D July 10

Remember when you shoot indoors to arrive in time to set up and stay to help take down. When using the clubhouse try and leave it cleaner than when you came in!
 
Wondering about all those shelters in the parking lot?? They will become rain shelters for various locations on the range.
 
We are still looking for willing helpers to help coach and assist the programs especially Saturday morning!
