2012 Canadian Championships Meeting November 28, 2011:

 

·       Sponsor ships – we need a brochure to show to companies Al will look into it.

·       The Host Manual, which outlines the instructions of hosting the event is available on line at: http://www.archerycanada.ca/images/stories/FCA/Forms/hostmanuals/2010TargetFieldhostmanualJUL10.pdf . Al suggested that all who are interested in assisting could have a look at it.

·       James will take a look at the registration program; he and Al will work on getting it ready.

·       Website – Al is just putting the finishing touches on the website, registration form etc can be finalized once we know catering costs.

·       Logo – Matthew Chitty has completed a first draft logo, everyone was in favour. 12cdnchampslogo.jpg

·       Budget – Al submitted the first draft budget to those present.

·       Refreshments etc, we will probably supply water, however, the West shore recreation is a ‘closed’ shop for selling of anything else. Al will check into how much might be allowed.

·       Opening BBQ – traditionally an opening BBQ is held to welcome competitors to the community, Al asked if it might be a good idea to tie this into an opening of the new range, that way we could use our own caterer, parking would be a problem and a shuttle system might have to be worked out. Parking could be on the range as it will be in August.

·       During the event our offices will be at the Kinsmen field house on the grounds near the event fields.

·       Volunteers are need for specific jobs, plus a ‘field crew of 4 or so will be needed daily for butt changes etc.

·       It would be nice to produce a program so add space could be sold, needs a volunteer chair.
