Vice President’s Report:

Updates on the bowhunting and FITA shooters activities

Announced Victoria Bowmen task as host of the archery competition for the BC Summer Games in July 2000.

Treasurer’s Report:

Outline current financial position.

Membership Report:

124 members as of 29 September 1999

Tournament Director’s Report:

Outlined number of FITA Stars hosted with good attendance.

JOP Director’s Report:

JOP members attended two tournaments off the Island with good results;

Victoria Bowmen will be hosting the 2000 JOP outdoor; and

Successful 3D funshoot for the juniors with expectation for a larger shoot next year.

Publicity Director’s Report:

Outlined JOP fundraising for the past year; and

Planning for next round of fundraising to be put on hold until dates for indoor shooting have been finalized.

Bowhunting Director’s Report:

Absent — no report.

Trophy Director’s Report:

No Report.

Target Director’s Report:

No Report.

Field Director’s Report:

Updated conditions on the field course; and

Bow Hunting field has been cleared of debris.

Equipment Director’s Report:

Outlined need to purchase new lawnmower; and

Presented proposal to purchase two large tents.

DND Director’s Report:

Indoor facilities at Macauley Point Gym will not be available until January 2000 at the earliest;

Juan de Fuca to present to DND regarding possible land use for outdoor range 5 October 1999; Victoria Bowmen will have input at this meeting; and

Property lease renewal has been confirmed until December 2000 with usual 30 day clause for termination of agreement; and

Victoria Bowmen will be responsible for property taxes in full after new year.

Number of successful functions hosted in conjunction with FITA Stars.
