Victoria Bowmen – Instructional Program Initiative

Instructional program has been established, aimed at potential new club members who are new to archery. Program details and dates will be circulated to all school, recreational and community activity organizations.

Course instructor is an FCA qualified coach.

The course will be spread over a 6 week period, with one instructional session per week.

 Fall and winter (indoor) and summer (outdoor) instructional programs will be conducted as interest warrants.

Dates and times will be published seasonally and registration forms will be available for download.

A registration fee of $60.00 per person will be levied to cover costs of facility rental, equipment maintenance and instructor honorarium.   A rebate of 50% of the paid course registration fee will be made available to be applied toward club membership in the Victoria Bowmen Archery Club.  Membership is to be confirmed before the end of the six week course.

Course content:        

            - General introduction to Archery Concepts and Organizations

            - Range safety

            - Range etiquette

            - Equipment selection, care, set-up and use

            - Technique

Club equipment will be provided for use during the course.
